Self-Education Resources

An important part of fair share and people care is doing the work to learn about the histories and struggles of those we’re working to be in solidarity with. Educating ourselves about what our privileges blind us from is a great way to come to the table ready to build bridges across differences and be able to better hear different lived experiences.

If you know of articles, documentaries, books or other educational materials written on any of the following issues that you would recommend, feel free to contact us with those suggestions.

Race, Colonialism and Neocolonialism

Class and Economic Structure

Gender and sexuality (feminism, trans issues, and queer issues)

Ability

Allyship (general)
